Give Yourself The Gift Of Movement



As we head into the final stretch of the year, use this moment as a reminder to continue your self care, or even start a self care routine up. Self care takes many forms, and one form is movement!


Movement is a gift we can bring into our lives.


What would that look like in your life?


Whether it’s 5 minutes, or 30 minutes, know that it adds up and matters. Movement shifts our mindset and allows us to care for our physical bodies. It can also be used to clear a cluttered mind and shift our energy.


When movement is a gift, it comes from a loving mindset surrounding it. Movement isn’t punishment. Movement is a useful tool to use when we want to connect with our bodies. Every day is an opportunity to listen to our body and notice how we want to move.


How do we tune in and notice the movement we desire?


  • Make a list of workouts/movement you enjoy, or want to try.

  • Each morning, think about what form of movement would suit you best that day.

  • Try it out on that day, and then take note of whether it was truly how you desired to move.

  • Use what you learn and adjust for the next day.


If you don’t figure it out on day 1, that is okay! We’re working towards lifelong movement and sometimes that takes adjusting. Allow that and just continue to keep coming back to movement that brings you joy.
